Heather Berry-Mabe
Vocals & Guitar
Heather Berry Mabe, a native of Sherando, Virginia, was raised in the rich musical traditions of bluegrass, folk, country, and gospel. Her pure, mountain-clear voice has earned her widespread recognition, with performances at iconic venues like the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium. Heather has recorded several albums, including two on Blue Circle Records, the label founded by Tom T. and the late Miss Dixie Hall. A two-time IBMA Award winner for her work with the Daughters of Bluegrass and a two-time SPBGMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee, Heather has been praised by legends of the genre. Miss Dixie once described her as “as awesome as Allison, of the caliber of Emmylou, and unassumingly sharing the legendary quality of Maybelle.” Grammy-nominated artist Peter Cooper added, “In the music business, we spend a lot of time talking about purity, beauty, tone, pitch and heart. Then Heather Berry sings and we just shut up and listen.”
