Junior Sisk
Vocals & Guitar
Junior Sisk is one of today’s most respected bluegrass vocalists, known for his powerful voice and unwavering dedication to traditional bluegrass. Hailing from the Virginia Blue Ridge, he first gained recognition as a songwriter for the Lonesome River Band before launching a celebrated career as a bandleader and recording artist. With multiple IBMA and SPBGMA awards to his name, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year, Sisk has become a driving force in modern traditional bluegrass. His most recent success, Load the Wagon, topped the charts and reinforced his status as a champion of the genre.
Heather Berry-Mabe
Vocals & Guitar
Heather Berry Mabe is a gifted vocalist and musician from Sherando, Virginia, known for her crystal-clear, mountain-honed voice and deep roots in bluegrass, gospel, and country music. A two-time IBMA Award winner for her work with the Daughters of Bluegrass and a two-time SPBGMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee, she has performed on some of the most prestigious stages in the country, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium. With recordings on Tom T. and Dixie Hall’s Blue Circle Records, Heather has earned praise from legends like Miss Dixie Hall, who compared her to icons like Emmylou Harris and Maybelle Carter, and Peter Cooper, who simply said, “Then Heather Berry sings and we just shut up and listen.”
Tony Mabe
Vocals & Banjo
Tony Mabe Jr. is a gifted multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Walnut Cove, North Carolina, known for his soulful style and impressive versatility. A self-taught musician since age six, he has performed with top bluegrass acts like The James King Band and Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, and earned recognition at major fiddlers conventions for his clawhammer and bluegrass banjo playing.
Jonathan Dillon
Vocals & Mandolin
Johnathan Dillon is a skilled multi-instrumentalist from Wirtz, Virginia, best known for his mandolin work with Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, where he has been a key member for over a decade. Starting music at age seven, he developed his talents across mandolin, banjo, guitar, and bass, and previously performed with Michelle Nixon & Drive. Influenced by legendary pickers like Dempsey Young and Adam Steffey, Dillon brings precision, heart, and harmony vocals to every performance. He’s also the band’s trusted bus driver and mechanic, making him an indispensable part of both the music and the mission.
Curt Love
Upright Bass
Curt Love is a talented multi-instrumentalist from North Carolina with a deep-rooted passion for bluegrass that began at age three. Starting on mandolin and later falling in love with the banjo, he developed his skills with help from mentors like Bill Simpson and the Hatley Family. Over the years, he added guitar and bass to his repertoire, performing locally and with regional bands. Now, Curt joins The Junior Sisk Band in his first full-time bass role, fulfilling a longtime dream to play with one of his musical heroes.
